East Texas Christian Country Artist/Evangelist John Randolph Has First #1 Song

Christian Country evangelist and singer/songwriter, John Randolph, has had music running through his veins since he was a child but it’s only been in the last 10 years that he understood what he was supposed to do with that music. His passion for sharing the message of God’s love, mercy and grace through the music that God has given him has garnered him his first number 1 song, “I Choose Now” on the Christian Voice Magazine Christian Country chart for June 2016.

“I can’t say thank you enough to God for allowing me to use music as the vehicle to spread His word,” John commented. “Most music evangelists will tell you that it’s not about the awards or recognition that comes in the form of things like this, but I believe God gives us an earthly “well-done child” every now and then to stoke the fires He’s placed in our hearts. Thanks to Christian radio for playing the song and thanks to all the great folks who have requested and supported it.”

“I Choose Now” is the title cut from John’s 2015 CD and was one of seven songs on the 10-song project written or co-written by John. The song is a statement for people to not wait until the day that Paul references in Romans 14:11 and Philippians 2:10-11 when every knee will bow and every tongue confess; it is a cry to God’s people to be like Joshua and proclaim “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” The song was John’s fourth single release to Christian Country and Country Gospel radio through Tommy Smith and Tyler-based Canyon Creek Records. John and Cindy, his wife of 19 years, and their youngest daughter Alyse recently moved back to Grand Saline where they lived for over 10 years and where he served on staff as Worship Leader at Main Street Baptist Church from 2008 to 2009.
