The Inspirational Country Music Association held their annual Faith, Family & Country™ Awards Thursday night at the Sevierville Civic Center in Sevierville, TN. After having to cancel last year’s award show due to Covid, this year represented and honored the nominees and winners for both 2019 and 2020.
The 25th & 26th Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards Show® featured performances and presentations by some of Inspirational Country Music’s biggest names to recognize inspirational recording artists for their contributions to share the Faith, Family & Country message through their music and ministries. It highlighted 21 categories with more than 100 artists in the Inspirational Country and Bluegrass genres, along with radio personalities and networks being nominated. The hosts for the event were tv correspondent Megan Alexander and Country music superstar, Darryl Worley.
The show kicked off with a performance from Jayne Carter, followed by Amy McAllister performing the National Anthem. The next performance was Kali Rose, joined by her daughters Ellia and Kila Rose. The reigning Living Legend Award winner, Branded, then took the stage to perform their current single ‘Joy.’ Other performances included Johnny Rowlett, Mary James, Corey Farlow, the Hinson Family featuring Weston Hinson (the son of Kenny Hinson), and a performance by the co-host Darryl Worley, singing his mother’s favorite song, ‘Second Wind.’ John Schneider and Cody McCarver brought down the house with the performance of their song, ‘These Hands.’ The audience was blown away by performances from Jenna Faith, with a song she wrote for her brothers who passed away two years ago, and Delnora Reed, who performed her newest single ‘Blank Page.’ The show came to a close with an amazing performance by some of the founding members of the Christian Country genre including Midsouth, DMB Band, Lisa Daggs, The Days, Barry Wayne, and White River.
