About Music City Christian Fellowship

The Music City Christian Fellowship is a non-profit organization of born-again Christian believers, involved in the Music and Entertainment Industry, dedicated to the proclaiming of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our gifts of music.

We are Scripture-based, Spirit-filled, God-led, and trust in Jesus for all things, believing in the Bible as God's inspired Word for man, that we might live a life that is pleasing to Him. It is our desire to be able, with the crumbling of old barriers and birth of new freedoms, to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world through the international Language of Music!

In June 1980, a group of Country Music artists and musicians wanted to honor God with the talents He had given them by sharing their songs and personal stories of faith. They came together in prayer and fellowship. They decided to have "A singin', prayin' get-together" for the Country Music fans during the annual Country Music Fan Fair celebration (currently known as CMA Music Festival). Some 40-50 singers, musicians, writers, producers, promoters, etc. were involved in the first "Sunday Mornin' Country." The event was so well received that the group organized to do similar ministries all year long.
