“Heavy Doors” was born from a simple prayer from Emily’s heart after the tragic loss of her mentor and close friend. Faced with uncertainty about her future, she began asking God to “open the heavy doors.”
Listeners will relate to the feeling of praying for a miracle, an answer, or a breakthrough they cannot create on their own. For Emily, God answered with opportunity, opening doors that led her back to the studio and stage.
