The
King James Boys from South Carolina have been dedicated to their ministry and
their music. Now with their 12th release, the band has become nationally-known
gospel favorites. The band includes Randy Spencer (guitar), Cole Spencer
(bass), Curtis Lewis (banjo), Will Hart (mandolin, guitar), and Dr. Jeff Dover
(vocals). Gospel fans should recognize songs such as “Rock I Stand On,” “Where
Would I Be,” “More Than Enough,” and the band original “But If Not.” Others included
are “Heaven’s Most Wanted List,” “Step Into The Water,” “Be Prepared,” and
“Little Grain Of Sand.” Randy Spencer sings lead, backed by Lewis’ banjo and
Hart’s mandolin. Tight harmony is the cornerstone of gospel music and these
folks are very good at it.
