“Not For Long,” was written by Rebecca Peck. I had just talked to my Aunt who was telling me that my Uncle probably had hours to live. I told her that we’d be sad for now, but not for long. As soon as I said it, my spirit nudged me. I knew I was onto something. So I called Rebecca. The next day, she sent me the song.
I also have a special bonus cut that ties into the song, “That’s My Preacher,” that includes preachers who have impacted my life like my dad, my father-in-law and the preacher who was preaching the night I was saved. A portion of that message is included on this special cut. Again, this is a very personal album to me.”
