New York Times Profiles Delilah on Popular Podcast, "The Daily"


 Delilah, the most-listened-to-woman on American radio was profiled by the The New York Times' "The Daily" podcast. The Premiere Networks syndicated personality opened up about her career in radio and how she became "one of America's most popular - and trusted - voices."


The in-depth interview detailed Delilah's journey from the small town of Reedsport, Oregon, to becoming a radio icon. As 2020 brought a pandemic, civil unrest, and a polarizing election, "The Daily" pointed to Delilah's consistency over many decades, as well as her ability offer hope and connect with listeners, as the keys to her enduring success.


"I hope that my show is support for them. I hope that my voice and my words is love for them. ...and I try every day to say on the radio, 'you are loved'" shared Delilah. "When anybody listens, I want them to hear love. I want them to hear peace. I want them to hear hope, especially now."


"I want to touch hearts and I want to bring joy," she added. "And even with all the craziness going on in the world, I believe I was born for such a time as this. That now, more than ever, we need hope. I know it sounds corny, but it's true."
