Written by Daniel Johnson, Carl Ray Williams, and Wood Newton, These three writers have penned a song for the ages. Newton himself is known for writing such hits as “Bobbie Sue” for the Oakridge Boys, “Riding Private Malone” for David Ball and “Twenty Years Ago” for Kenny Rogers, to name a few.
“In Jesus Name We Pray Amen, Amen” was produced by Grand Ole Opry Member Mandy Barnett. Joined by renowned sound engineer Bobby Bradley and a host of some of Nashville’s best sessions players Barnett produced a cut reminiscent of the great classic country female artist of the past.
Walker says, “I am excited about, “In Jesus' Name, We Pray Amen Amen.” It houses a powerful message within a simple lyric and a feel-good melody. It’s the kind of song that gets in your head and then lives in your heart.”
