John Lanier - Christian recording artist and Christian Voice Magazine Executive Editor - is a featured guest on Gospel Music Today TV show, hosted by Ken & Jean Grady.
In this week's edition, John shares his testimony of God's faithfulness through multiple health issues in the past couple of years, including his recent triple bypass heart surgery.
"It's been a while since I have made a public appearance on stage or on TV," John shares. "It was an honor and a lot of fun to be able to sit down with host Ken Grady and share how good God has been to me with the Gospel Music Today viewers. I pray it will encourage people who are struggling with sickness or disease and serve as a reminder that we serve a God who still heals and who will stand in the fire with us when we face seemingly impossible circumstances."
He adds, "I want to thank everyone who has kept me in their prayers, and I hope to be back on the road next year!"
The interview was filmed backstage during the week of the 2024 Gospel Music FanFair, where John served as host alongside Christian Voice Magazine's Margie Tanner for the Gospel Music Fan Awards. This was John's first public appearance at a concert event in nearly four years. He received a warm welcome from fans who were in attendance from all over the southeastern United States.
"It was like a big family reunion for me," John states. "And there were moments throughout the week that it was like an old-fashioned revival broke out as both fans and artists prayed, declared the Word of God, lifted up their praises, and even danced before the Lord! Oh, how I have missed this!"
