Sonlite Records is excited to announce that Amber Eppinette Saunders of 11th Hour is stepping into a new season with a solo endeavor under the name Amber Lynn that highlights her most personal songwriting yet.
“While still looking forward to everything that’s coming with 11th Hour, I’ve been working quietly on so much new music, waiting for the moment that felt right — and that moment is finally here,” she enthuses. “I can’t wait to share more of my heart and story with you through my first ever solo release.”
Leaning into a more inspirational tone while still honoring her southern gospel roots, Saunders is embracing honest stories and heartfelt vocal delivery. This new path lets her share deeper reflections and uplift listeners with a sound that’s both familiar and boldly her own.
Her first single, “Yahweh (Your Will Your Way)” — set for release January 23 — captures those tenets and sets the tone for more music that allows Saunders to spread her musical wings still further.
“This next chapter means a lot to me,” she concludes. “Time to share my heart with you all.”
Amber Eppinette Saunders hails from Sterlington, LA. As a pastor’s kid, Amber grew up surrounded by music and the message of the Gospel from a very young age. As a teenager, she felt God’s calling into music and writing—a calling that would lead to the creation of 11th Hour. It was upon the completion of her first song, entitled Adam’s Fall, that the seventeen-year-old recognized the vast difference between knowing about God and having a personal relationship with Him. That realization led to her surrendering her life to Him and fully embracing the mission He placed before her to minister through music.
Since that time, Amber has been a part of composing over 200 songs, many of which have been cut by 11th Hour as well as artists such as The Martins, The Whisnants, The Bowling Sisters, and many more. She has also enjoyed a number of accolades as a vocalist, including several fan award nominations for Soprano of the Year and, recently, a Songwriter of the Year nomination. Amber completed a diploma in Christian counseling, which allows her to serve others in a greater capacity as she ministers at women’s conferences and concert events.
God has blessed Amber abundantly in her personal life as well. She married her husband, Garrett, in November of 2019, and the couple welcomed their son, Vinny, in 2022 and daughter, Penny, in 2025. When they’re not traveling, the family enjoys attending and serving at their home church, Trinity Baptist in Asheville, NC
