Gaither Music Group Announces Self-Titled Solo Debut from Mike Rogers First Single “He Touched Me” Out Now

Gaither Music Group announces the release of “He Touched Me,” the debut solo single from DOVE Award-nominated musician, singer and songwriter Mike Rogers, available today on all streaming platforms. The track previews Rogers’ forthcoming self-titled album, Mike Rogers, arriving May 29, 2026 on CD and DVD.

Best known in Nashville and throughout the country, gospel and bluegrass communities for his musicianship, Rogers has spent years as a trusted presence onstage and in the studio. After launching his career as a drummer, he moved to Nashville to perform with country artist Craig Morgan before joining bluegrass legend Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, where he stepped to the front of the stage playing acoustic guitar and singing lead.

In recent years, Rogers has become a member of Ricky Skaggs’ Kentucky Thunder as well as the acclaimed quartet Brothers of the Heart, alongside Jimmy Fortune, Bradley Walker and Ben Isaacs. His solo debut marks a natural next chapter — one that showcases the tenor voice and interpretive depth that have long made him a standout among his peers.

Produced by award-winning artist and producer Ben Isaacs, Mike Rogers wraps Rogers’ signature sound around a collection of Gospel standards and Country favorites that have shaped his decades-long journey. The project blends reverence for tradition with a fresh, personal delivery that reflects both his roots and his range. Vocal contributions to the album include Bill Gaither, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Mac Powell, Jimmy Fortune, The Isaacs, Bradley Walker, Emily Ann Roberts, and Sharon White to name a few.

The album features musicians Jeff King (electric guitar), Jenee Fleenor (fiddle), Josh Swift (dobro), Russ Carson (banjo), Ben Isaacs (upright bass), Doyle Lawson (mandolin), Greg Ritchie (drums/percussion), Gordon Mote (piano/keys), Scotty Sanders (steel), Stuie French (electric guitar), and Ricky Skaggs (mandolin).

The companion DVD captures Rogers live in concert and features collaborations with many of the artists who have shared the stage with him over the years, highlighting the strong musical relationships that define his career.

The television special will air on TBN, RFD-TV, The Word Network, Vision, TCT, The Walk TV, TLN, Hope TV, The Miracle Channel, CTS, CTN, and Heartland the weekend of May 29th.
