My mom has a way of turning ordinary moments into reminders of faith. "It didn’t matter if she was standing in the grocery store line, walking through the neighborhood, or speaking to someone passing by on the sidewalk. With a smile on her face and joy in her voice, she would say, “God is Good.”
Almost every time, someone would answer back, “All The Time.”
Then together, almost like a song they both already knew by heart, they would say, "God Is Good.”
In these moments, something special happened. Strangers became family for a second. Worries felt lighter. The air seemed warmer. And all of us standing nearby would smile with confidence, knowing that no matter what life looked like, God was still faithful.
As a child, I didn’t fully understand why those words meant so much. But as I grew older, I realized she wasn’t just repeating a phrase—she was declaring a truth. Through hard days, prayers, victories, and tears, she carried that confession everywhere she went.'
Now whenever I hear someone say, I certainty a answer back: “God is Good,” I can still hear, deep inside, with the same “All The Time, God Is Good!”
